How do I change the joke?
Tap the design to open it in the designer, tap the word you want to change and type. The text stays sharp and fits itself to the shirt. You can change the font and color too.
Can I make a matching set with a different word on each shirt?
Yes. Make the first shirt, then use "Add another color or size" in the cart to make a copy and change the word: "Warning: may start talking about fishing" for one, "golf" for the other. They all count together toward the bulk price.
Can I add a photo of their dog (or their face)?
Yes. Upload a photo in the designer. Photos of pets and people work best with a plain background; the designer can remove a solid background, and it warns you if a photo is too small to print sharply.
Is it OK to use a joke I saw online?
Write your own joke or start from ours. Please don't use song lyrics, movie quotes, logos or brand names; we can't print those.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Order one shirt or a whole group's worth. Larger orders get a lower price per shirt, and your quote shows it as you add sizes.
How long does it take?
Small orders are printed in 2–5 business days, then shipped. Orders of 24 or more shirts take 10–14 business days to print. Have a date to hit? Add it in your cart under "Need it by" so we can plan for it.

What makes a funny shirt actually funny
A funny shirt works when people who know the wearer laugh first, and everyone else gets it a second later. A few things help:
- Make it specific. "Warning: may start talking about sourdough at any moment" is funnier than a general joke, because everyone knows who it's about.
- Keep it short. If it takes more than a few seconds to read across a room, cut words.
- Let the big word be the punchline. Put the word that changes in the biggest type.
