A team shirt has to do a few things at once: show which team you're on, look good in the team photo, and hold up to a season of games. Here's how to plan one, with team name ideas if you haven't picked yours yet.
What goes on a team shirt
- Front: the team name, a logo or mascot, and the league or season.
- Back: each player's last name and number, jersey style.
- Sleeve: a sponsor's name, the year, or a small logo.

Names and numbers
Names and numbers make a team shirt feel like a real jersey. When you design with us, add a name and number to the back once, then type each player's name, number and size in the order. Or send a group link so each player adds their own. Names and numbers are only charged when your design prints them.
Colors and fabric
Match your league's colors, or pick a color no other team is wearing so you're easy to spot. For outdoor sports, a lighter color stays cooler; for bowling and trivia, black and navy look sharp. A soft, lightweight tee moves well in active games, and a heavyweight cotton tee holds up to a season of washes.
Ordering for the whole team
Mix youth and adult sizes, tees and hoodies with the same design in one order. Larger orders get a lower price per shirt. Order two to three weeks before your first game, and add the date in the cart under "Need it by".
